Summer in the City

Swarovski Flagship Store

"Chinatown"

Clothes: F21, Shoes&Bag: H&M

Vienna surely has the Best ART there is haha
Hey fellas,
just got home from lunch and Frozen Yogurt with Nina. Delicious Delicious. (Ill post the pics of my Vapiano food later on!). I just have to say, just like Carrie Bradshaw dated NYC, I feel like dating Vienna. For me it is like the best city in the world. Loads of culture, there is always tons of stuff to do, it is super artsy, just breathtakingly beautiful and rich in history if u ask me, and so much good food :-O
Plus rents are rather cheap haha So Nina and I slendered through Vienna this afternoon, checking out all the tourists, listenting to a boys choir that sounded like Tibethian 40 y.o. Monks haha and boy that FroYo was just AMAZEBALLS!
Hope you have a great week. And fingers crossed Italy wins the UEFA Euro 2012 ;-)
Lots of Love, V.

Newsflash: I am going to Sweden

Hey there fellas :))
A few days ago I promised some big news announcement. Well there u go: I am going to Sweden in August for at least 12 months to attain my Masters degree in Fashion Management with specialisation in Fashion Marketing and Retailing. I am over the moon happy to have been admitted, the competition is pretty tough in Sweden for international Students. Nevertheless, i am super excited (hyper actually LOLz) and also super stressed out because I feel like there are a thousand things to do before I go even though I won't be leaving before the end of August. However, that means I most definitely have to successfully pass my last big (SUPERbig) exam at the end of May to receive my Bachelors degree. Probably should start learning already...gosh, I am always so lazy when it comes to learning haha Anyways, just wanted to share some of the joy and happiness I am feeling right now as well as some recent outfit pics!
LOVE, V.

Ps.: We still want to meet some fellow viennese bloggers, come forward wherever you are ;))

"Park"City

Fake leather/Fur vest (F21), Jeans Shirt (H&M), Grey leather bag (H&M), Shoes (ASOS)
Oh how I love denim. And leather. And fake fur. Seriously, if u'd ask me what my favourite fabrics would be, forget about satin, silk and chiffon. Leather and Jeans is what I am talking about. I feel most comfortable during warm summer days just throwing on a pair of jeans (long or short doesnt matter) and a plain simple mens shirt together with leather boots. Easy as that I tell ya. And I think leather makes every outfit fierce. Though one has to have the guts to wear it.
Nina shot this pics somewhere in the midst of Vienna when we were "fishing" for sunrays as the weather currently isn't treating us that well. But hey, one can always go back to loads of crap food (chocolate anyone?!) and watching all episodes of Sex and the City. That s*** never goes out of style ;-)
So this weekend I am a prisoner of my own appartment, preparing for 2 exams next week, almost the last ones until I can finally call myself Bachelorette. Regarding my universitary future I have some big anouncements to make in the next few days. STAY TUNED!
Love y'all, V.

Ps.: Follow me on INSTAGRAM at vmarton ;-) Don't miss out on some fun pictures!

Family Affair

My lovely brother Liron
left to right: Mommy, Sammy, Liron, Peninna

So as I mentioned earlier, my family (well part of it, u know, my appartment is only as big..) will spend the next few days with me and I am so estatic. We had a wonderful day eating ice cream and doing some touristy style sightseeing :-)
If you'll ever come to visit Vienna during summer time I totally recommend paying a visit to the famous "Tichy" ice cream shop, there is a reason why it's so famous! Tomorrow we'll do some shopping, eat Pasta at Vapiano and afterwards get some cupcakes. All in all i predict a great week, IF the weather will stay that nice...fingers crossed.
xx V.

40 days and 40 nights

So apparently - if i am lucky - its 40 days and nights of work and then i am done with my internship.  So hopefully, by the end of March i am back in good ol' Vienna haha
Today it was so freaking cold in Hanover, it almost felt like my brain was about to freeze and i was so tired, i actually fell asleep at work, thank god nobody came in my office haha
This pictures were taken last Sunday on my weekend stay in lovely Vienna after lunch at Coffee Shop. Weather was actually quite good even though it was cold. Nina and I felt like typical tourists, strolling through the inner city and taking pictures haha I am wearing my wine red fake fur vest I got on Saturday at Forever 21. Man, I loooove Sale! For me, it is always kinda hard to find something nice at F21 as I think most of the clothes look like they're targeted at 15 y.o. teens loving all sorts of pop colors and prints. I don't know, I just think whoever is the buyer for the Austrian market does a pretty crappy job as i remember that the clothes overseas at F21 used to be much prettier and they had all sorts of stuff. But maybe it is just me. I'd rather have a Gina Tricot store or Topshop here. That i can work with. Then again, some of my most precious garments are from F21 because if you look closely enough you do find nice stuff...like my black leather skirt and vest, worn at new years day here.
Anyways, where do you guys like to shop? And are you more the "i like to try beforehand in the shop" or the "I'd rather order online and try on then" people?
Have a nice rest of the week, more outfits on the weekend :-)
xoxo V.

Falling for Fall

"Über allem die Liebe" that means Love above all

Here are just a few snapshots from yesterday - we wanted to go to the Pure Living Bakery again, but it's closed on sundays. Therefore we went to the third district to Rochus, and than just making photos at the fountain above.
I hate winter, so I'm always a bit scared when summer's ending and you can already feel the crisp air and see the leaves falling of the trees. But this year I think I will enjoy fall a bit more - all the colours of the trees, starting to wear boots/scarves, drinking tea, wearing dark nail polish instead of bright colours, starting to bake again (I love to bake, but in my tiny appartement it gets really hot!!)... I will write a list and put it someplace, where I can see it all the time, just as a reminder for myself - I'll post my fall to-do List in the next days.
Any suggestions, what I should do this fall?
Have a great week guys!
